Upstream now provides CMake build scripts as well but they do not appear
to be ready yet, as in addition to not respecting user CFLAGS (easily
fixed) whdd built with CMake immediately segfaults.

No revision bump because not only does this not change the run-time
behaviour but also is effectively a no-op for non-Prefix users.

More-or-less trivial, an EAPI bump + switch from VCS snapshots
to release tarballs.

maksbotan (who is currently inactive as Gentoo developer, according to
git and IRC logs) was proxying maintenance by me. Since I am now Gentoo
developer myself, there's no need for proxying, as I am willing to
maintain sys-block/whdd as needed.

Use tc-export function from toolchain-funcs eclass to export CC as
environment variable.
This is needed because build system of whdd (>=3.0) has no configure
script, but straight makefile and Portage doesn't automatically export
CC and other build-related environment variables.

This commit represents a new era for Gentoo:
Storing the gentoo-x86 tree in Git, as converted from CVS.
This commit is the start of the NEW history.
Any historical data is intended to be grafted onto this point.
Creation process:
1. Take final CVS checkout snapshot
2. Remove ALL ChangeLog* files
3. Transform all Manifests to thin
4. Remove empty Manifests
5. Convert all stale $Header$/$Id$ CVS keywords to non-expanded Git $Id$
5.1. Do not touch files with -kb/-ko keyword flags.
